Hi there, I’m Alyssa. Rinu grew out of an awakening experience in my twenties and an enduring curiosity about the unseen dimensions of human life. The name echoes the Yoruba concept of Ori Inu, pointing to the invisible Self within the Self. I work with self-aware souls in the space between awakening and embodiment, offering Human Design readings as a form of contemporary mystical guidance and self-study. My work looks toward the energetic anatomy of individual human experience, drawing from metaphysical, contemplative systems as ways of understanding ourselves and our nature.

The candles began as a grounding practice while my head was in the stars, studying nondual philosophy, symbolism, Tarot, Human Design, and whatever wisdom traditions were calling to me. Working with beeswax gave me something tangible to return to, and eventually became its own devoted practice of keeping time in a more analog, elemental way. When I’m not covered in beeswax, you can usually find me reading or writing with one of my fluffy orange cats close by.
