Hi friends, I’m Alyssa. Rinu came into being alongside an awakening experience that began in my twenties. The name echoes the Yoruba term Ori Inu, pointing to the concept of ‘the invisible Self within the Self.’ Much of my time is spent demystifying the unseen aspects of human life and cultivating practical ways to remember that we are essentially light, wrapped in the story of being human.

I’m continually struck by the awareness that we live on a floating sphere in infinity, sustained by a star, yet we move through life in a collective amnesia that tends to ignore this entirely. Candlemaking started as a grounding hobby while my head was in the stars studying wisdom traditions, and it evolved into a tangible way of sharing light that eventually started this practice.

The metaphysical side of Rinu focuses on the light of our awareness. While most spiritual practices focus on transcending the Self, here we illuminate how to honor your individuality to best serve you and the collective. I offer 1:1 energetic mapping using the system of Human Design to teach people about the subtle body and the language of their energy. My lens is shaped by years of consciousness studies, non-dual philosophy, Tarot, and Human Design. In essence, Rinu is about light in many forms—how it moves through us, and how we engage with it.
